According to the Arizona Republic, Marion is unhappy that the team has not initiated talks concerning a contract extension and of hearing his name in various trade rumors. "I'm tired of hearing my name in trades," Marion told the paper late Tuesday. "I love my fans in Phoenix but I think it's time for me to move on."

Flushing, NY (Sports Network) - Matt Chico won his first career road start, and New York began its final week of playoff pressure by falling to the Washington Nationals, 13-4, at Shea Stadium. Playing every day during the final week of the season, New York got off on the wrong foot while Chico (6-9) ended the season on the right one. The 24-year- old southpaw won his first road start in seven decisions, surrendering three runs on nine hits over 5 1/3 frames. "I felt kind of heavy today, and I just tried to get through it," said Chico. "I wanted to get some ground balls, whatever I could do to get some outs."
